The MPSD is excited to introduce some new faces that are joining our team.  We wish them many years of gratitude for helping to shape our students into the best possible future leaders!

Gavin Annette  GAVIN ANNETTE- Theater Teacher
About Me: I moved to Wisconsin from the Seattle area in April 2019; I'm actually the latest in a large portion of my family to make the migration to the Manitowoc area.

Some interests of mine include reading and writing (particularly the fantasy and horror genres in both respects), filmmaking and playwriting, and anything to do with the performing arts (acting, singing, dancing, etc.)

On weekends you will usually find me out in the woods hiking, coming up with a fun idea for a skit or video, or cleaning my apartment for the umpteenth time - really depends on my mood that morning.

A couple of fun facts about me: I'm a classically trained tenor.  I have been part of a couple of rock band projects in the Seattle area as lead vocalist, and actually spent six years touring with a small theatre troupe, performing a musical version of a cult classic horror film in cities around the Pacific Northwest and Oklahoma.

I'm very excited to be a part of the Manitowoc Public School District community, and can't wait to see what this next school year has in store!

Educational Background:
- Western Washington University (Bellingham, WA) | Bachelor of Arts, Acting and Dramatic Writing | Class of 2014
