The Manitowoc Public School District understands that students, families and staff have many questions surrounding the operation of 4K-12 education during a pandemic. Please see the information below for answers to some of the questions that you have asked to date; other questions are still under review by district leaders. As soon as we have more answers we will add them to this FAQ. Additional questions can be submitted in this feedback form


Families’ learning model choice:
families are asked to fill out
this form indicating
their plans for their child/ren for the start of
the school year
. The form must be returned
by Friday, August 7.

Bus transportation: families will receive
information on how to sign up for bus
transportation, including mid-day transportation
for half-day classes.

Student schedules: after family plans are
submitted by August 7, MPSD schools can
plan building and student schedules and
share them with families as soon as possible.

School supplies, forms, fees,
and picture days:
schools will communicate
these details with families.

Listening Sessions
MPSD held 6 listening sessions in July to provide updates on 2020-2021 school planning and solicit feedback. Sessions were held with staff, families, school building leaders, teacher leaders and the MEA on July 9, 13, 17, 20, 22 and 23.
