Miller¡Hola! My name is Susan Miller and I’m the new Spanish Teacher at Lincoln High School.  Previously I taught Spanish for the Mishicot Public School District.  I’m originally from Manitowoc and graduated from Lincoln High School.  After high school I attended UW-Stevens Point and Silver Lake College, receiving teaching certifications for Spanish, ELL, and Special Education.  I have traveled and studied abroad in Spain.  I’m glad to be back and part of the teaching staff!

WiegandMy name is Abbey Wiegand and I will be teaching 5K special education at Riverview Early Childhood Center. I am a proud Manitowoc Public School District Alumni and I am very excited to be back here in Manitowoc.

WaterhouseMy name is Mary Waterhouse and I will be teaching science at Wilson Junior High. This will be my first year teaching at Wilson, but is my second year teaching science. I previously taught in Minnesota for a year. I decided to move back to Wisconsin and say goodbye to all those Vikings fans. GO PACK GO!

I have a bachelor’s degree in science and I absolutely love teaching it. My favorite subject is Biology and Environmental Science. I can’t wait to help students become better scientists and expose them to lots of life skills.

I grew up in the small town of Antigo, Wisconsin and I love going home and visit often. My parents and my two older brothers, Chad and Paul, live there. I also enjoy going home to visit my three nieces. There is nothing quite like being an auntie.

This summer, I finally got the kitten I’ve been dreaming of. Lucy is a Maine Coon, and loves to bite anything and everything. She has more energy than a room full of students.

I can’t wait to spend the next year learning and growing with my students and the Manitowoc Public School District!

RitchieI'm Jeanne Ritchie, and I'm the new music teacher at Monroe and Riverview. I grew up in Eau Claire, Wisconsin, and attended UW-Eau Claire for my Bachelor's degree in Music Education. I have since moved to southern Wisconsin and have lived there the last 14 years.  I am moving to Manitowoc from Beloit, Wisconsin.  I have taught music in the Eau Claire area and Beloit vicinity.  I have 2 grown children who live in Chicagoland and 2 fur baby cats.  I'm very excited to be moving to the area and am looking forward to seeing Lake Michigan on a regular basis.  Even more important, I can't wait to meet my kiddos and begin working with them!
