The Music Parents Association (MPA) is an organization that allows parents of music students (band, chorus, and orchestra) the opportunity to become more involved in their child’s music program in the Manitowoc Public School District.
The MPA greatly benefits the music program by providing money to purchase equipment and other things that can not otherwise be afforded through the music budget. In the past, the MPA has given money toward the purchase of the marching band banner, color guard uniforms, bussing for trips, monitors, boom-boxes, and more. With the parental membership, student applicants could also receive a scholarship to a summer music camp. Only through the support of the MPA would these items be possible.
As you receive mailings from the MPA, please become a member of this outstanding organization and support our music programs. It is only $5/family to join and meeting dates and times are on the school district calendar and on the calendar in this website. If for any reason you fail to receive a mailing, please contact a music teacher and they will direct you to the right person to speak to.
